The journey of Ka Sur Kynud began with The Voice: Ka Sur Ki Khynnah Rit, a singing platform created to discover and nurture young musical talent in Meghalaya. One of its most inspiring success stories was S.K. Khariong, a seven-year-old contestant who emerged as the winner. In recognition of his remarkable talent, Don Bosco Media Network awarded him a full year's school fees, reaffirming its commitment to supporting gifted young artists.
The first official season of Ka Sur Kynud crowned Chevinia Lyngdoh Mawnai, an 11-year-old prodigy, as its champion. Her victory marked a significant milestone in the history of the competition. In addition to winning the ₹100,000 cash prize, she represented Meghalaya at the prestigious Vocal Star UK competition, where she brought international glory by winning the championship in the same year.

Kitkupar Nongsiej — Gold Medalists at WCOPA 2026, Las Vegas
After emerging as the champion of the third edition of Ka Sur Kynud, Kitkupar was selected and sponsored by Don Bosco Media Network to represent India at the prestigious World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Las Vegas, USA.
